Francois Marais is the chairman of the Klydon Board and a non-executive director. After qualifying as an attorney Francois Marais worked in a merchant banking environment, joining Central Merchant Bank before he left to rejoin the legal profession. At present he is a partner at Jowell Glyn & Marais. His practice covers the entire spectrum of general commercial work although he specialises in corporate finance. | |

Dr Einar Ronander is the chief executive officer of Klydon and an executive director. He has Doctoral degrees, in Chemistry and Physics with 27 years experience in solid state physics, isotope separation, laser technology and reaction kinetics as well as extensive management experience in an array of high technology innovation projects. | |

Abel Halpern is a non-executive director of Klydon. Mr. Halpern is a private investor with activities in Africa, Europe and the Americas. Previously he was a partner with TPG Capital and a consultant with Bain & Company. He received a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude with Distinction, from Yale University. Mr. Halpern has served on the boards of several international companies and non-profit institutions. | |

Cecil Jowell is a non-executive director of Klydon. He is a well respected businessman, with directorships on the boards of many large local and international companies, in addition to running his own listed concern. In 1991 he was voted as one of Business Times’ Top Five Businessmen. | |

Rick Menell is a non-executive director of Klydon. He has over 30 years of experience in the mining and engineering industries. He has a Master of Arts from Cambridge University and a Master of Science from Stanford University. He serves on the boards of several large mining and engineering companies. | |

Sandile Zungu is a non-executive director of Klydon. He studied at Hilton College and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Cape Town. He is Executive Chairman of Zungu Investments Company and serves on the boards of several listed companies. He is also a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South African government-owned arms manufacturer Denel. | |
